Water Walls

Washington, DC, 2010

In concert with renovations to the Jewish Primary Day School of the Nation’s Capital's facilities, this project introduces graphic content to the restrooms and drinking fountains. Water is both the theme of the project and the content of it.

Designed as a striking aesthetic gesture, this work is also meant to provoke an awareness of water as a resource as well as commodity. The graphics present water in various perspectives coordinated with the spatial conditions at wall sites throughout the building.
