Images in the Air; Mom & Me, Me & Jonah - King David Boulevard, Tel Aviv, Israel

This work placed mental images of myself, my son, and my parents in the public realm so that
they might be seen together by others and stimulate the consideration of memory and place.
A set of family snapshots are combined with black and white Polaroids documenting the same
poses 35 years later by my infant son and myself. Translucent fabric panels printed with these
photos were installed on King David Boulevard in Tel Aviv, where I lived with my parents when
first born. Images from the past are part of this moment - wind, sunlight and people absorb
them into the street.
